Hi NAC Swimming Families, (Sorry for the late email-- this one took a while!!) Congrats to everyone who competed this weekend at the BWA January Developmental and Winter Classic Meets! Our swimmers were so good about cheering for their teammates and supporting each other. We were happy to see so many kids achieve new qualifying times and hit IMR/IMX as well! (An updated championship team document with highlights in yellow is attached.) Thank you to everyone who volunteered! Hi NAC Families, We had a fabulous weekend at the BWA meets! This was by far the largest team NAC has ever brought to a USA meet, and our presence was known. Special thanks to all the parents who volunteered and/or jumped in to help, particularly during the developmental sessions where we had (again, by far) the largest number of swimmers from any team. Saturday was a bit of a zoo but we made it work!! To those of you who didn’t attend, we hope you enjoyed the Saturday off...

Hello NAC Swim Team Families, We are all looking forward to using our 2 new starting blocks later this week! The anchors were installed Friday and we will now have blocks in 4 lanes ready for Wednesday’s practice. We received notice that our caps will be in this week and we are hoping our t-shirts will be ready for the meet next weekend. Equipment reminders-- It is really important for the kids to bring everything everyday, AND check to see if they have all of their items before leaving the...

Hi NAC Swimming Families, Welcome to the special Saturday edition of Shark Bites! (We will be taking tomorrow off.) Thank you so much for a successful meet after a challenging week with no pool! I appreciate how we came together as a team today and the resilience displayed by our swim families. It looked like the turnout for all-ages dryland was great, and I’m so thankful we had the opportunity to cross train. Meet results by session, including the disqualification (“DQ”) summary are attached. If your swimmer got DQ’d, don’t...

Hi NAC Swimming Families, We are so excited for our season to start tomorrow! See below for key notes. We promise these will get shorter as we get into the swing of things! Where & When to Report for Practice If Dryland first: see “dryland info” below. Pool only or pool first: Last year, we had formal staging areas before practice. We aren’t going to do that this year, although we are going to take steps to minimize the number of swimmers in the pool area at one time. There...
