Clinic Description

This clinic, run by NAC Swim Team coaches, will focus on improving swimmer technique on all four strokes, including starts and turns. The clinic is progression based so swimmers understand proper strokes are built. All strokes will be covered in all weeks. Except in extreme cases, we will not allow swimmers to skip weeks.

  • Week 1: Balance and Alignment/proper turns and push offs
  • Week 2: Kicking and pulling in alignment (Part 1)
  • Week 3: Kicking and pulling in alignment (Part 2)
  • Week 4: Timing and connection
  • Week 5: Technique under pressure
  • Week 6: Starts, turns, racing strategy

Two Tracks for Family Flexibility: For all groups except our most entry level (Developmental 1), we are offering two tracks depending on commitment level. Track 1 includes an extra Saturday practice each week. Swimmers in Track 1 will be offered the opportunity to participate in USA meets, should there be meet opportunities. Due to lane space, Saturdays are not interchangeable for other practices.

Swimmers will be placed into one of six groups. Please see registration form for pricing. Families registering by 3/20 will receive $20 off all clinic fees. Track preference will be first come, first served and your preferred track may fill before 3/20.

For most returning swimmers, your Spring Clinic placement is the same as your Fall/Winter 2021-2022 placement. Please reach out to the coaching staff with questions.
