NRG Swimmers Win "The Cup"

On Sunday, April 3rd, 2011, NRG's age group swimmers were able to do something that has not been achieved in most of thier own lifetimes- win The Cup races against Jersey Wahoos.  NRG had not won The Cup since 1999, and now it will leave Mt. Laurel and come back to Pennsylvania.

12 total cups were available to win, with many, many deciding races and NRG, with the help of Jersey Storm, was able to take 7 of the 6 cups.  Our swimmers were able to produce large drops in time in order to secure the cup and several swimmers placed in the top 8 in their age group and time standards with four swimmers (Katharine B, Nadhia, Sam K. and Colin) taking home first place awards.

We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication it took these swimmers to get to this point and thank the swimmers and parents for their time and efforts this past season.  We look forward to another season of success!
