PAY WEEKLY UPDATES – 7/8/19

Coaches Corner:

  1. The Practice Calendar for July 21 on has been posted. Please note that there is no practice this Wednesday afternoon/evening due to our home dual meet.
  2. We will only run practices for National and Zone qualifiers after July 19.  With JO’s ending July 21, and our Summer League Champ meets running on July 20, 22 and 23, it makes sense for our year-round swimmers to start their well-deserved breaks following their Long Course and/or Summer League Champ meets after a long and successful 11 months.  We will break the entire month of August and start practices again the Tuesday after Labor Day.  I will have short course practice scheduling and meet scheduling information out later this month.

PAY Swimming:

PAY competed at a Long Course Meet at Upper Main Line YMCA this weekend.  Although the weather was completely uncooperative, we managed to get in one session a day of swimming for each age group, and our swimmers and families were incredibly flexible throughout the process.  The swimmers worked hard and competed well in challenging conditions, and PAY again had some really strong swims.  While there were many great swims, we’d like to recognize the swimmers who posted “AA” times or better.  Below is the list:
