  1. Winterfest - the deadline to commit to attend has passed however we will likely be able to add more qualifiers until after our 12/18 meet. Swimmers age 13&O must have 2 Individual qualifying events to attend (qualifying times are listed on our website) and there is a $100 flat fee to attend this year for up to 5 events. Entries 6 & 7 are an additional $10/each. Relays are $40/team ($10/athlete.) An eligibility chart is posted in the event, updated through 11/21 - If your swimmer is listed then they are eligible to attend Winterfest at this point in time.  Any time shaded in grey is ineligible. If you have any questions, please reach out to a Coach.

  1. Remember that January is right around the corner and we will have 3 dual meets: Jan 8 (home), Jan 22 (home), Jan 29 (at West Chester Y).  Please RSVP for your swimmer under Events in Team Unify or HERE.  The Volunteer Job signups for each meet are also posted. Thanks in advance!

PAY SWIM ANGEL GIVING TREE:  We still have a lot of tags on the tree for families to take a few to contribute as you can.  Thank you for your generosity!  Here’s how it works:

-Select gift tags off the tree.

-Each NUMBERED card specifies a gift.

-There are also cards with a cash amount (versus a specific gift). Please place any cash gift in a labelled envelope with the tag attached.

-Sign your name on the Sign Up Poster next to the # designated on your card, located on the wall near the tree on the swim deck.

-Please bring the gifts (*UNWRAPPED*) to the Pool Deck ON MONDAY12/20/2021.  (donations of wrapping paper are also accepted)

MASTERS SWIMMERS’ MEET: We will be hosting a US Masters Swim Meet on Sunday, January 9th open to adult USMS-registered swimmers ages 18-100+.  This meet also serves as a PAY swim team fundraiser so we will look for teens and families to volunteer and help us host this incredible morning to early afternoon meet at our YMCA.

TYR SWIM CAPS: If your swimmer has lost or ripped their new TYR brand PAY cap, new ones are available for $12 cash.  Please email Kate Baganski ([email protected]) to make arrangements to meet at the Y to purchase one.  These caps will also be on sale at our home meets in January.  ***Swimmers are encouraged to save the TYR swim caps for competing in swim meets so that we can have uniformity at the meets.  In contrast, for practices, swimmers can wear any cap.  Silicone and latex swim caps in an assortment of fun designs and colors are available at most sporting goods stores, Toad Hollow Swim Store in Paoli, Swimoutlet.com, Target, etc.

SUPER SENIORS:  SAVE THE DATE- our senior recognition will take place at our home meet on January 8th.  Recognition of the senior girls and boys will take place after warmups and prior to their respective meet beginning.  The girls’ meet is in the morning and the boys’ meet is in the afternoon.  Questionnaires will be distributed to the seniors via email later this month for them to complete and return.
