The Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club (WCAC), is a parent-run swim organization that offers training and competition at all levels in the sports of swimming, diving, and water polo.  WCAC is a member club of the Suburban Aquatic League (SAL) and USA Swimming.

Within SAL, WCAC is a member of the National Conference, in the Southwest Division.  Dual meets are held beginning in November against other clubs in the same division on Saturdays.  SAL championship meets begin in January and culminate in the League Championships the first weekend in February.  The team also encourages participation in SAL Invitational meets, usually held on Sundays.

The WCAC USA swim team is offered alongside the SAL swim and dive team during the winter season, with the goal to qualify for Junior Olympics, Silver and Bronze Champs.  USA Swimming registration is mandatory for Trojan 3 and Trojan 4 and optional for Trojan 1 & 2. The winter season runs from September to March. Beginning in April the USA swim team continues with a monthly training program  and includes USA meet participation through Summer Championships. For additional information on US Swimming, please refer to the USA Swim tab on the website.

The club is a community-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors that meets monthly.

SAL will not have dual meets in the 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 situation

WCAC strives to provide the youth of our community the opportunity to reach their highest personal potential as both individuals and an athletes.  We understand that winning is much more than one's place in the finish of a race, and we are committed to helping our swimmers develop their self-esteem and pride through both individual achievement and teamwork.
