- What is US swimming at WCAC?
- WCAC part of the Middle Atlantic Region of USA Swimming. Our team and its members are eligible to compete at swim meets held within our region.
- US Swimming provides a higher level of competition with a more extensive list of events to a more dedicated group of swimmers. The WCAC US program is offered as a seven or eleven month commitment.
- USA Sanctioned swim meets include a wider range of events for swimmers. Longer distances as well as long course meets are also offered.
- Following the winter season, the US Team converts to a monthly fee based program that provides training 5 days per week from April through July. During this period swimmers continue training for spring and summer competitions.
- Throughout the year, WCAC sends coaches with swimmers to US Sanctioned meets. Coaches are also sent to all Championship Events.
- Location and length of meets are determined by the host team.
- Registration for meets may be limited to meet time restrictions. For this reason we will typically only open registration for a limited time period. Should you miss the online registration, we will do our best to have your swimmer added, but are unable to guarantee entry. For this reason we recommend committing early.
