Certified MDSI Meet Entry Director Requirements

  • Register as a Non-Athlete with MD/USA Swimming, completing the Level 2 Background Check (www.usaswimming.org),  Athlete Protection Training (www.usaswimming.org) and Concussion Protocol Training (https://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html)
  • Pass the MDSI Meet Entry Director’s Online Test with a score of 80% or above (returning Meet Entry Directors must take every 2 years)
  • No later than 90 Days prior to processing first meet entries, contact a MD Swimming Certified Meet Entries Mentor. (Email [email protected] to get names and contact information for current approved mentors).
  • Do not process or enter any entries until initial approval and direction is received from entries Mentor. Mentor will oversee entire entry process from first entry receipt until entries are turned over to Meet Director.
  • Mentor will notify MD Swimming office when new entries director is certified.
  • Must be re-certified every 2 years.
