Discretionary Reimbursement Fund

Maryland Swimming will include a Discretionary Reimbursement line in their annual budget, a $2000 discretionary reimbursement fund, for athletes needing meet and other travel assistance, who do not qualify under any of the current delineated reimbursement plans.

Swimmer must meet all current reimbursement qualifications of membership, representation, status and residence.

Partial disbursement is possible so that several swimmers can apply

Disbursement decision to be made on a case by case basis.

All decisions will be made by the MDSI Board of Directors, and are final.

No more than $2000 may be used per year, unused money is returned to the general fund at the end of the year.

Reimbursement/Funding may not go directly to the athlete; it will be paid to the swimmer’s club or to the Organization Meet Sponsor.
