Maryland Swimming

Our Vision:  To make swimming the sport of choice for Maryland.

Our Mission:  Maryland Swimming provides opportunities for athletes to participate in competitive swimming, reach their full potential, and develop skills for life-long success.

Our DE&I Mission: We need every swimmer, every coach, every volunteer, and every community member to commit to improving our diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our Core Values:  Proactive Achievement, Respect, and Ownership.

All meets that will be on the schedule need to have completed the Meet Bid Application or the Approved Meet Application.  If you are unsure which applies to your meet, contact [email protected] to help you through the process.
If your meet has never been on the Maryland Schedule, you will need to complete the Add a Meet to the Existing Schedule Form.  Your application will be reviewed to determine if it conflicts with another meet already on the Maryland schedule.
Once your meet application has been reviewed and approved you will receive a sanction number.
After you receive the sanction number you will need to forward the final Meet Announcement (following this template) and, if your meet is open to all MDSI teams, the entry file to [email protected] so it can be posted on the Maryland Swimming website.
Please remember that after the host team's entries, entries need to be processed in the order they are received and the teams need to be notified of receipt within 48 hours.
If you need to rent equipment from Maryland Swimming, please complete the Equipment Rental Request form as soon as possible.
Recon is due to  [email protected] no later than the Wednesday prior to the start of the meet.  The recon report is from Meet Manager (File -> Export -> USA-S Registration).  At the same time, send a seeded final timeline to [email protected].
Once your meet is complete, you will need to send a final unlocked TeamUnify backup to [email protected], who will pull the reports to send to SWIMS and for posting to Maryland Swimming.  Teams must also complete the Post Meet Financial Report for all hosted meets.
