Accountable on Attendance - 2023 NC Long Course Travel Swim Meet (June 15-19)
Good afternoon to all,
I need to get accountable for all swimmers that will be attending the NC Long Course Swim Meet on June 15 to 19. I would like parents to fill out the Google doc so we have a total number of rooms needed for Arena Club Swim Team to include the 12 and under swimmers.

I have also attached the previous NC email with all the details below so you can review the information. There was some confusion about parents that get a hotel room if their child can stay in the swimmers' room. Parents have the option for their child, who is 13 and older to stay in the room with the other swimmers but there is an additional cost. Parents will have to pay for their child's portion of the room. So if your child would like to stay in a room with their fellow swimmers, you can pay $225 for the 4-Nights or $175 for the 3-Nights. If you choose to do this, please note this in the Google doc so we can account for their space.
Parents that will be attending the NC Long Course Swim Meet please make sure you get book your hotel room to ensure you get a room because there is a set number of rooms assigned to us. Once these rooms are booked there are no guarantees the hotel will provide you with the special pricing.

Hotel Rooms
ACA has blocked rooms at Embassy Suites and Homewood for parents. Parents should reserve their rooms as soon as possible due to limited availability. *The Embassy Suite and Homewood Suite are within walking distance of each other. Which allows parents to have flexibility in selecting either one of the hotels. Each hotel has different accommodations but seems to be very nice and conveniently close. And the hotels have also agreed to allow us to use either one of their pools. This gives families the choice to enjoy an indoor or outdoor pool. Families can also use the basketball court at Homewood Suite. In the evening Embassy Suites has invited ACA families to join them for 2 free drinks and a light snack.
All hotel reservations will be made by ACA for coaches, parent chaperones, and swimmers who are 13 and over. Girls and Boys will be divided into different hotels as identified below. There will be 3 swimmers per room of the same gender with no adult. Each swimmer will have the option to sleep in their own bed. Chaperones will have their own rooms located beside the swimmers' rooms. All chaperones will be certified under USA Swimming regulations and policies to ensure swimmers' safety.

PRICING
4-Night Rooms – COST - $225 per swimmer
13 and Older Swimmers
3 Swimmers per room / Same Gender
We will stay for Sunday Finals, sleep one more night in the hotel, and head back home on Monday morning.

12 and Under Swimmers
Parents with a child 12 & Under will book their own rooms and show do that as soon as possible. The group rate will be offered until Thursday, June 1, 2023, under the Arena Club. After that date, the pricing will return back to the hotel's original rates.
Sunday Finals will be in the afternoon, so check out will be Sunday at noon. You can request to stay an additional day and the hotel will honor our pricing.

Meals
Swimmers will need to bring money for meals.
Breakfast - There is a free hot breakfast every morning for Parents and swimmers to enjoy.
An evening reception will be at the Embassy Hotel. (with 2 free drinks and a light snack)
Lunch / Dinner – Swimmer will be responsible for paying for their lunch & dinner. We find places to eat as a group each day.
Team Dinner – ACA will cover one team dinner.
