Every swimmer matters on FAST! Swimmers have demonstrated flexibility and resiliency in their training. Our Coaches are working more hours and we are having to rent more hours of pool time due to COVID restrictions. This is going smoothly. Maryland’s House of Delegates Annual Meeting (that was postponed in May) was held yesterday via Zoom. FAST has 3 voting members (Coach (Coach Emily Pieklo), Athlete (Joey Pieklo) and NonAthlete (Sarah Wirth)) for these important meetings in which many decisions are made for our Maryland Swim LSC. Don't forget to plan ahead... Especially for the CBAC No Standard Meet! There are the four hotel swim meets that we are participating in throughout the season. We have rooms blocked off for our FAST Families to take advantage of. The groups of rooms for each Meet will be held for our Team until 30 days out with NO EXCEPTIONS. Please make sure your swimmer qualifies for the Meet before making your family's hotel accommodations NOTE: When the block is filled, other arrangements need to be made by your family....

FAST Swimmers Heading to United States Olympic Training Center. Two of our FAST swimmers were selected to train at The United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO this weekend. Chloe Colvard and Ethan Welker were nominated by Coach Cheryl based on their "Power Point" score and were then selected by MD Swimming to be one of the 12 girls and one of 12 boys sent on to this incredible honor and opportunity. Congratulations Ethan and Chloe!

2019 USAS Convention, St. Louis, MO Coach Cheryl, Wade Adkins (USA Official and long standing member of FAST) and 4 of our own FAST Senior Swimmers attended the USA National Swimming Convention on September 10-15th.
