Here at NAAC, we strive to make our athlete's protection and safety our highest priority.  By working together as coaches, swimmers, parents and volunteers we can ensure all of our USA Swimming members are supported in a safe and dependable environment both in and out of the pool.

USA Swimming Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policy (MAAPP)

USA Swimming’s top priority continues to be keeping our athletes safe. No form of abuse, including child sexual abuse, has a place in our sport. As a part of our continued commitment to safeguarding our athletes, USA Swimming has enacted enhancements to our Safe Sport policy and education requirements.

Training our members in abuse prevention and mandatory reporting is just as important as creating policies. USA Swimming is required to provide regular and consistent training for all adults who interact with and have direct contact with minor athletes, including adult athletes. Starting June 23, 2019, as a condition of membership, all athlete members ages 18 and over must complete Athlete Protection Training.  NAAC encourages all athletes and parents to complete the following training regardless of age:

USA Swimming Athlete Protection Training for Non-Athlete Members

USA Swimming Athlete Protection Training for Athlete Members

USA Swimming Athlete Protection Training for Parents

In addition, USA Swimming provides several other programs, policies and permission forms to help prevent all forms of abuse:
