Aaron Rog Head Coach

AJ is the fearless leader of Seacoast Swim Club and has been a part of the club for over 12 years.  He began swimming when he was 8 years old for Canoe City Swim Club in Old Town, Maine.  He was a member of 4 straight high school state championship teams at Old Town High School.  AJ went on to swim for 4 years at the University of Maine in Orono, where he specialized in backstroke and IM and was named captain his senior year.  After granduation, he stayed on for one year as an assistant coach.  AJ lives in Cumberland with his wife and children and is a full time teacher in Portland.  

Emily Wells Assistant Coach

Coach Emily is back! Emily was an assistant coach for Seacoast Swim Club from 2016-2018, before going on a two-year adventure in Botswana! While away, she taught high school English and History at a school in Gaborone, the Southern African nation's capital.  She returned to Maine in the fall of 2020 and is excited to be back on the pool deck. Emily previously coached club and school swim teams in New York City after spending her college years swimming for Franklin & Marshall in PA.  

Rob Hale Assistant Coach

Rob Hale, a one-time Greely Rangers standout and longtime coach, is respected, admired and most of all beloved for the fun atmosphere he fosters.  Rob started swimming at the age of 12 and hasn't stopped.  He has coached the Greely High School and Middle School teams for over 20 years and has been with Seacoast since the club began.  In 2020, Rob was inducted into the Maine Swimming Hall of Fame.
