  • Lane reservations are no longer required.
    • This means lanes may be shared and you may need to split lanes with another swimmer or circle swim if you have more than three patrons in a lane.
  • Masks are 100% optional.
  • We have hand sanitizing pumps all over the pool area for your use.
  • Patrons may enter through the D55 door OR through the lobby and locker rooms. If you enter through the D55 door please use the cement walkways leading up to the door (stay off the grass). As soon as you are on the pool deck please remove your "outside shoes." (health code)
  • Patrons should not enter the building more than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • All of the locker rooms are open to shower BEFORE entering the water (health code). The on-deck shower (located behind the diving boards) and deep-end portable shower are also available for showering BEFORE entering the water - health code!
  • Patrons are encouraged to arrive and leave in your swimsuit. However, if someone has no other option and must change on site they are now allowed to do so. Locker rooms are open on an "as needed" and "limited" basis.
  • Please continue to socially distance yourself from others. JPS is still asking for three feet of separation.
    • There will be an area for each person/household to set their belongings before they exercise and to return to after they exercise. Look for the wildcat decal.

***We are in the process of doing criminal background checks for everyone who wants to swim during the school day. If you only swim in the early morning, evening, or weekend lap swim hours you do not need to do a criminal background check.

Every lap swim that occurs during the school day will require a membership, a completed (and passed) background check, and you will need to coordinate with Jen to get your keycard. Your keycard is $10, but that is fully refundable when you return it to any lifeguard. Attached is the criminal background check. Please complete and take a photo or scan to Moni Marlink in athletics. Her email is [email protected]. This is the quickest way to get approved.
