LAC WINTER 2019-20

Welcome to Lakeview Aquatic Club!  Below are group descriptions and practice times. Each level has practice attendance expectations, as well as swim meet participation requirements. We are a competitive swim team and meet participation is crucial in a swimmers’ development. LAC is part of the Southwest Michigan Swim League, which gives swimmers opportunities to swim in smaller local meets.  ALL SWIMMERS are REQUIRED to participate in a minimum of one SWMSL dual meet and the Championship meet, as well as Team hosted Districts.  USA meets are encouraged for Junior Team, Junior Plus and Senior Groups. There is also a parental commitment.  LAC hosts meets to provide opportunities for our swimmers and is our only fundraising activity. Parents are required to work one session for each child in the program at all home meets. This is a wonderful way to show your child you support their interests by being involved!

Fees listed below do not include meet fees which average $10.00 to $30.00 depending on type of meet. The board again approved an administrative fee of $10.00 for the winter session.  This fee was added to help the club cover the cost of credit card processing.*  All swimmers will need an annual USA registration of $80.00.The USA registration fee can be reduced to $7.00 with a free or reduced lunch verification.

All Junior Groups groups practice at Lakeview Middle School, Senior Group at the High School.

**Winter season ends for all swimmers at Districts Feb. 22-23.. If swimmers qualify for Junior Olympics or State, additional practice fees for these meets are pro-rated weekly.
