The  SAILFISH  is the fastest  FISH  in the world !

We are all about FAST SWIMMING!

Sailfish Swim Club is a "year-round" USA Swimming swim team in Michigan.  We currently operate in Livonia and Walled Lake / Commerce Township.

If your desire is to be a fast swimmer, then this is  THE  team for you!  

We also offer Swim Lessons, Lap Swim membership, and pool rentals.

Lap Swim = $50/month  // times= 5:30am-8:30am and Noon-1:00pm

We compete at all levels of swim meets: 

 Local - Regional - National - Olympic Trials - International - Open Water

From our first year of existence to this year (2021), we have had several individual state champions!

LESSONS: Learn basic aquatic skills from elementary swimming to competitive swim team prep. Private, semi-private, and group lessons taught by trained and qualified instructors are available. To schedule a private or semi-private session, please call the pool office at (734) 855-4259.

SWIM TEAM: Swimmers looking to join the competitive swim teams should be able to swim a full length of each of the four strokes using the correct technique. All swimmers will be required to cover the yearly USA Swimming registration fee of $85. Please call to schedule tryouts.

With 31,500 species so far identified, fish display more species diversity than any other class of vertebrates. The  sailfish  is the fastest fish in the world – able to swim at a speed of 68mph, followed by the much slower  marlin  at 50mph.

Mission Statement:

Sailfish Swim Club shall provide a quality competitive and instructional swim program for people of all ages and abilities. We shall offer motivation, training, and education for each member to assist in the advancement of their swimming and physical fitness in a productive, practical, and safe manner.  We will operate in a safe and supportive environment and protect every child using Safe Sport policies and procedures. We will strive to help every member optimize their level of swimming and athletic ability.

Sailfish Swim Club is committed to following the guidelines set forth in USA Swimming's Safe Sport Programming.  We encourage our swimmers and parents to review the Safe Sport materials and take advantage of the free parent and athlete (ages 12-18) training available on the USA Swimming website site.
