7/3 (Sat) WISC HOME Breast Stroke Meet vs. Barton Hills

Ypsilanti Otters

Otter Families!

We have 23 swimmers signed up for the 7/3 (Sat) Breastroke Home Meet v Barton Hills. If you meant to sign up your swimmer, please email [email protected] today and we can add your swimmer to the line up.

If you haven’t already, please sign up for a Volunteer job for the meet. No experience is required.

Reminders & important information:  Warm ups start at 8:00 am, and the meet will begin at 9 am. Please have your swimmer bring two towels, suit, goggles, and a hoodie or sweats to stay warm on deck. They can bring a drink or small snack. Do Not Leave the meet until your swimmer checks with the coach to make sure they are done swimming ALL events.

To optimize social distanc-ing, we plan to have the swimmers on deck and the parents outside the fence (surrounding the pool) except for the parents who are volunteering at the meet. We need parents to bring their own chairs. At this point, we are not planning on having concessions. There is a small parking lot and parking is allowed on 1 side of the street. Everyone should enter/exit the pool area through the gate.

We have a 6-lane pool. Rutherford has a newly renovated bathhouse with mens locker rooms/showers/bathrooms, women's locker rooms/showers/bathrooms, 3 family bathrooms and an area of open showers.

Those who aren't vaccinated should wear a mask when in the bathhouse except when showering. All swimmers and volunteers will need to complete the Check-in Sheet upon arriving.

If we are unable to hold the meet due to weather, swimmers must come to the Rutherford Pool at the warm up time and sign an attendance sheet which will then be submitted to WISC to count as participation in one of the two required meets to be eligible for WISC Championships.
