CHARLIE EGELAND NAMED TO U.S. NATIONAL JUNIOR TEAM FOR 2022-23

Aquajets National Team member, Charlie Egeland, has been named to the 2022-23 U.S. National Junior Team in the men's 100m breaststroke. Egeland is the seventh Aquajets swimmer all-time to be named to the team.
 
Egeland finished fifth in the 100m breaststroke and sixth in the 200m breaststroke at the 2022 Summer Junior Nationals in Irvine, California. He is the defending Class A MSHSL State Champion in the 200 freestyle, and runner-up in the 100 breaststroke. He is also a member of the USA Swimming Scholastic All-America team.
 
The National Junior Team is comprised of athletes 18-and-under and selection is based on World Rankings.  The U.S. National Junior Team aims to strengthen the future performance of the United States Olympic Swimming Team. Previous Aquajets swimmers named to the U.S. National Junior Team include  Rachel Bootsma, Van Donkersgoed, Abby Duncan, Olivia Anderson, Isabelle Stadden, and Hayden Zheng.
