AQUAJETS AWARDED GOLD MEDAL STATUS IN USA SWIMMING 2023 CLUB EXCELLENCE PROGRAM
The results are in! Aquajets has earned Gold Medal status in the 2023 USA Swimming Club Excellence Program, finishing 15th among all eligible teams. The Club Excellence program recognizes USA Swimming’s highest-performing clubs in the development of athletes 18 and under, and Aquajets is proud to have earned Silver or Gold Medal status for 14 consecutive years. This is the 5th time Aquajets has earned Gold Medal status.
Two hundred USA Swimming-affiliated teams make the cut each year. The top 20 clubs earn Gold level status, followed by clubs rated 21-100, who are awarded Silver status; the next 100 earn Bronze. Watch for our new Gold Medal banner to be hung in the pool area soon!
Fourteen Aquajets swimmers earned FINA power points for the team during the qualifying period, which is used for the calculation of Club Excellence points. Congratulations to Libby Bakker, Julia Bartell, Luke Becker, Carly Bixby, Charlie Egeland, Paige Dillon, Emma Kern, Luke Logue, Avery Luedke, James McCarthy, James Pan, Michael Philips, Drew Ploof, Grace Rabb, and Jiarui Xue.
