HIGH TIDES SWIM CLUB

COVID-19 RETURN TO POOL PROTOCOL

LATEST UPDATE 09.01.21

High Tides Swim Club (HTSC) takes very seriously the safety and well being of all our swimmers and coaches.  We thank all our members, coaches and swimmers for following our COVID-19 policies that were put in place.

Swimmers exhibiting one or more common COVID-19 symptoms (new loss of taste or smell, difficulty breathing, fever of 100.4 or higher; new onset or worsening cough) must isolate themselves from activities for the recommended MDH period of time (10 days) from the onset of symptoms or receive a negative COVID-19 test.

Swimmers identified as close contacts will not be required to quarantine; however, swimmers should watch closely for symptoms as it can take up to 14 days from exposure to show symptoms.

We encourage swimmers to continue to social distance and to use the locker rooms as minimally as possible. Masking is not required but we respect everyone’s individual choice to do what is right for their family and swimmer/s.

We ask that families screen their swimmer/s each day before coming to practice.

High Tides is following a similar plan as the Hutchinson School District.

If a member of a swimmer’s household or a swimmer has a confirmed case of COVID-19, Coach RJ or Kristy Scheidt must be notified ASAP.

We ask that everyone does their part to keep our entire swim community safe and healthy.  Please reach out to any board member with questions or concerns.  #rolltides

Thank you!
