SCSC follows the COVID-19 Decision Tree for People in Schools, Youth, and Child Care Programs published by the Minnesota Department of Health. This document provides a playbook for the following situations affecting a coach or swimmer:

  • one “less common” symptom
  • one “more common” symptom  or two “less common” symptoms
  • “close contact” with someone with a positive COVID-19 test
  • a positive COVID-19 test

If any of the above situations arise, please notify your swimmer's coach and Coach Olga immediately. Working with the family, the decision tree will be used to determine if the swimmer can swim or should stay home and “isolate” or “quarantine”.

The definitions of “less common”, “more common”, “close contact”, “isolate”, and “quarantine” can be found in the COVID-19 Attendance Guide for Parents and Families

If a swimmer or coach tests positive for COVID-19, we will notify members of the impacted team immediately.
