New Information

Riptide All Levels Meet:  Congratulations to our Riptide swimmers. Great job on Saturday! Thank you to our amazing volunteers for making it all happen. Riptide cannot run meets without your time and dedication. You are all the BEST! Meet results are available here.

Regan at TYR Pro Knoxville: Regan Smith made her 2019 long course racing debut this weekend at the first of five TYR Pro meets. Racing against stacked fields, Regan won both the 100 & 200 meter backstroke events. She also finished second in the 200 meter butterfly,  5th in the 100 meter butterfly and 6th in the 200 meter freestyle. She secured 2020 Olympic Trials cuts in all five of the events she swam. She’s currently ranked #1 in the world in the 200 meter back and #2 in the world in the 100 meter back. Congrats, Regan!

Dogs At Bluewater: We’ve noticed an increasing number of dogs coming into Bluewater with their owners. We need to ask that you please refrain from bringing your dogs into the building. We have families with allergy issues or who are simply uncomfortable with dogs in the building. Let’s please respect this rule. Thanks.

Spring Season: As an early heads-up to our families, the Spring season will begin on Monday April 1st. Our all-swimmer meeting will take place that evening and practices will begin for most groups on Tuesday. The exception to this is Senior Elite & Sr 2 which will begin on Monday afternoon the 1st.

Riptide Bench Pads: We’ve got some LONG sessions coming up at the MAC & MRC meets in February! Be a friend to your backside and look great in the process by sporting your very own Riptide Bench Pads! We’d love to see our Riptide families, in BIG numbers, showing their team spirit at these big meets.

Meet Officials: Riptide is always looking for individuals interested in becoming Meet Officials. If you have any interest in learning a bit more about this critical role, please email Paul Smith for more information.

Lost & Found: We now have 21 suits on the lost and found table! Please swing into the Bluewater lobby to see if anything belongs to your swimmer(s).
