New Information

Piranha Summer Chomp Invite:  We had a great meet this weekend! The weather was perfect and we saw plenty of best times and fantastic swims for our first outdoor long course meet of the season.

MAAPP Acknowledgement: We sent an email to the entire club last week highlighting the new, USA Swimming, Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Program (MAAPP). We need ALL Riptide families to read and acknowledge their understanding of this program. We created an Event for this acknowledgement and ask each family to please click the above link and commit to this program by clicking “yes”. The event page contains pdf’s with detailed information on the new program. It’s critical that we have 100% of our families acknowledge this program by June 23rd.

Summer Practice Schedule: A reminder to our families that the new summer practice schedule begins on Monday June 10th. Please be sure to check your team unify practice calendars for details. The exception to the June 10th start date is our Sr-Elite & Senior 2 swimmers who will begin their long course practices this Saturday, June 8th.

Brendon Stuckey Photos: Brendon continues to do some great photography work for our team. Here’s the link to his Riptide photos. Most recently, you’ll find some excellent shots from our All-Levels Meet in May. The gallery PIN for downloads is 7695. Thanks, Brendon!!

Special Olympics MN Volunteers Needed: There is an upcoming MN Special Olympics State Swim Competition June 21-22 at the University of St. Thomas and the hosts need volunteers for the meet (timers, stagers) that would be a great fit for your team!  I would welcome the opportunity to have your swimmers a part of our event!  Volunteer opportunities can be viewed at www.somn.org/volunteers

Anyone interested in more information, please contact Coach Amy for details.

Locker Room Parents: Parents…this is a friendly reminder that you need to refrain from entering the locker rooms at Bluewater.
