New Information

June All-Levels Meet Results: We hosted a fun meet this weekend for a lot of our swimmers and saw some EXCELLENT results. Thank you very much to our volunteers for supporting this meet which allows our kids this fun opportunity to race. Meet results are available here.

MAAPP Acknowledgement: As of today, over 50% of the Riptide membership has not read and acknowledged the MAAPP policy. We need ALL Riptide families to read and acknowledge their understanding of this program. We created an Event for this acknowledgement and ask each family to please click the above link and commit to this program by clicking “yes”. The event page contains pdf’s with detailed information on the new program. It’s critical that we have 100% of our families acknowledge this program by June 23rd. If you have any technical issues with the acknowledgement (system issues), please email Paul and he’ll take care of it.

Age Group State Hotel Rooms: Rochester is heavily booked for the July 25-28 weekend so we encourage our families to make your reservations immediately. There are no blocks available due to several large conventions in town.

Holiday Inn Rooms for MRC: We were able to find 15 additional 2-Qn rooms at the Holiday Inn in Austin. See this link for booking details.

Summer Weather Policy: In the case of inclement weather, any roster group scheduled for a long course practice will receive a cancellation email from the lead coach. This email will include information on your alternate practice location and time.

  • Northfield early morning practices - Sent no later than 4:20am
  • Bloomington early morning practices – Sent no later than 5am.
  • Bloomington 10am practices – Sent no later than 9am.

Auto Championship Meet Sign-Up: A reminder to our families that all swimmers in groups Silver or higher (excluding HSTS) will be automatically entered for all end-of-season Championship Meets for which they qualify UNLESS you contact your lead coach and request they NOT be entered. You may also “decline” the meet in Team Unify.

Summer FlexSwim: We’ll offer a FlexSwim option for our swimmers during the off-season this summer! It will run five weeks - July 29th through August 29th – 13 & O 4-5:15pm and 12 & U 5:15-6:15pm. The five-week session is only $120. We will create an event sign-up and will notify families when it’s available.

Swimmer Pick-Ups: A reminder to parents to please make every effort to be on-time to get your kids from practices. We ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes after the completion of practice. If this continues to be a problem, we will need to charge the specific families to cover the costs of coaches remaining past the end of normal shifts.

Piranha Summer Chomp Invite:  Meet Results for Piranha.

Summer Practice Schedule: A reminder to our families that the new summer practice schedule begins TODAY. Please be sure to check your team unify practice calendars for details.
