New Information


14 & U State Championships: Riptide had a fantastic championship down in Rochester. Our 14 & under swimmers earned 6th place in the combined team standings with 1180 points. The following Riptide swimmers also qualified for the Central Zone Championships in West Fargo, North Dakota August 1-4: Kathryn Bonneville, Hannah Dubbe, Franny Anderson, Taylor Hintz, Rachel Hutchins, Matthew Mortenson, Caroline Mulrooney, Elizabeth Oakland, Addison Pavek and Mackenzie Roach. Congratulations to one and all!!! Stay tuned on more details on high point standings. We had a few right up there!

MRC High Point Awards: 8&U Marian Kalweit  3rd; 11-12 Tate Dihel 2nd; 13-14 Emma Vogen 1st, Gwen Marcott 2nd; Sullivan Labno 1st;15-16 Greyson Marcott 2nd; 17&O Leah Soukup 1st, Maddie Shea 3rd, Braeden Kovacs 1st, Andrew Perrin 3rd. Way to Go Everyone!!!!

World Championships Week: Regan Smith had an incredible meet at the FINA World Championships in Gwangju South Korea. We will provide more details later but, in summary, Regan broke THREE World Records and two GOLD medals – 100 and 200 meter backstroke and as part of the 4 x 100 Medley Relay. Congratulations to Regan! We could not be more proud.

Practice Concludes: Practice has concluded for any swimmers NOT heading to State Championships or beyond. All Riptide swimmers wishing to swim through August are welcome to sign-up for FlexSwim (see below) which begins on July 29th.

Summer FlexSwim: We’re offering FlexSwim during the upcoming off-season in late July through August! It will run M-Th for five weeks - July 29th through August 29th – 13 & O 4-5:15pm and 12 & U 5:15-6:15pm. The five-week session is only $120. Use the event sign-up to register!

Fall Registration: Registration for the Fall season opens on Monday, August 20th. ALL Riptide swimmers planning to swim in September must register prior to the start of the season. Our girls high school swimmers may wait to register until closer to when they plan to return.

Group Moves: Group moves for the Fall season will be announced by July 31. If you have a question about your Fall practice group, please contact your lead coach.
