Important Reminders

  • Senior State Championships: Riptide traveled to Fargo, North Dakota for the MNSI Senior Championships this past Thursday through Sunday. Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed and contributed to the 3rd place finish in the combined team scoring. Riptide had four swimmers place in the top three Distance High Point standings: Molly Johnson – 2nd, Tessa Lindstrom – 3rd, Hunter Rytting – 1st and Marc Heide – 2nd. Way to go everyone!!! Next stop…Speedo Long Course Sectionals in Indianapolis, Indiana! GO RIPTIDE!!!!
  • Regional High Point Update: We missed two Riptide swimmers who earned High Point awards: Samantha Graves – 1st / 11-12 and Isla George – 3rd / 15-16.
  • Long Course Season Registration:  Riptide Swim Team is a year round team so if you are currently registered you do not need to register again for the Spring/Summer season.  If you are not swimming in April, you do need to contact Cara at [email protected] to put your account on hold so that you are not charged. If you are new to Riptide or did not swim the short course season, registration will open on March 27th for the long course season.  Remember, you must also register with USA Swimming on their website as well.  Please follow the unique link in the Riptide registration.
  • Meet Schedule and Practice Calendars:   Our meet schedule and practice calendars will be updated this week. If you have any questions, please reach out to your swimmer’s lead coach.
  • Long Course Season: Practices begin Wednesday, April 5th. Enjoy the break!
