Athletes 13 to 18 years of age

Workout Days/Times: Mondays-Fridays 5:45-7:30 p.m.

Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire and commitment to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. Training takes precedence over technique work for the first time and as such athletes are expected to enter the group with the ability to swim all four strokes legally, previous competitive experience or advanced lessons are highly encouraged.

Athletes will compete about once a month and regularly swim in the 50, 100, and 200 Free, 100's and 200's of stroke, and the 200 IM. They will also work towards competing distance free events and the 400 IM.

Required Practice Equipment: Competition style suit (girls- women's competition training suit, boys- jammers or briefs), swim cap, goggles, water bottle, towel, kickboard, pull buoy, paddles, short training fins, mesh equipment bag, stretch cords, and jump rope

Optional Equipment per Athlete Needs: nose plug, ear plugs
