The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) has seen fit to recognize Coach Jon as a Coach of Excellence for his work with Condors Swim Club during 2018. Coaches can become eligible for such an award by guiding a Swimmer to a Top-8 finish at a USA Swimming National level meet, or a USA Collegiate Championship (NCAA Div. I-III). Condors tore up at the pool at Metro’s Senior Mets meet, a Championship meet geared towards Senior-level swimmers. Emily Escobedo, our resident USA Swimming National Team Member in the 200 Breaststroke lead the charge.
