Mission:  Metropolitan Swimming shall promote, develop and improve competitive swimming through education, support and opportunities for participation to a diverse swimming community.

Vision:
To inspire and provide quality opportunities for our members to achieve excellence in the sport of competitive swimming.

Metropolitan Swimming stands with our community against racist actions, incendiary statements, and violence against any person. This means we must engage individuals throughout our member community in tough conversations about inequalities, identify the signs of systematic racism, and share proven solutions.

As we get ready for the 2022 long course season you will need to continue to work with your facility to be sure all safety guidelines are followed.

Metro has returned to a regular sanction process providing all local, state, federal and USA Swimming protocols are followed.  The additional Return to Competition form will be needed for any sanction given until USA Swimming removes it.

JO UPDATE

Good Afternoon,

The Metro Board of Directors, Age Group and Technical Planning, as charged by the House of Delegates, there will be a change in qualifying times for this year's Long Course JO's.

As spoken about at the HOD meeting - .5 per 50 will be added to the LC meters and SC Yard times.  This will help serve many more swimmers in our LSC.

As a result of the changes made OME will open on July 1, 2022 to accommodate the changes that the House requested.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
