2020 USA Swimming Club Excellence Results

Metropolitan Swimming LSC lands 6 clubs in the 2020 Club Excellence results for 2020 year. For the first time since the Club Excellence Program’s inception, 2 Metropolitan Clubs achieved Gold Medal Status.

  1. Long Island Aquatic Club – 30,866 points – Gold Medal Status – 9th Overall
  2. Badger Swim Club – 21,997 points – Gold Medal Status – 16th overall
  3. Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics – Silver Medal Status – 33rd overall
  4. New York Sharks Aquatics – Bronze Medal Status – 147th overall
  5. Three Village Swim Club – Bronze Medal Status – 155th overall
  6. Condors Swim Club of Clarkstown – Bronze Medal Status – 198th overall

In the overall results, Illinois had 13 Clubs recognized to lead all LSCs, while Southern California Swimming had 9 recognized clubs among the 200.

In the Club Excellence program, all 18 & Under members of a club (who are also USA Swimming members and US citizens) are given points for each of their best times throughout the season. Athletes are given power points for their times, with bonus multipliers when an athlete achieves a silver or gold time standard. Only long course meters times are accepted.
