SAFE SPORT

USA SWIMMING - SAFE SPORT NDAC has acheived USA Swimming Safe Sport Recognized Club status. NDAC is extremely proud of the positive club culture our coaches, swimmers and families have created and nurtured over the past 25 years. NDAC strives to create a safe, healthy and supportive team-family environment which allows all of our athletes to develop to their maximum potential both in and out of the pool. USA Swimming Safe Sport Recognized Club A Safe Sport is USA Swimming's comprehensive abuse prevention program. USA Swimming believes that every child has the right to a safe swimming environment that is free from any type of bullying or abuse. Swimmers should be able to work hard, pursue their goals, make friends, benefit from good coaching, and celebrate achievements without worrying about being in an abusive situation. The relationships developed through the sport of swimming can be some of the most positive and lasting relationships in a young person's life. Coaches often become trusted mentors and valuable role models. Teammates become life-long friends. USA Swimming's Safe Sport Program provides model policies for clubs to demonstrate their commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and positive environment for all of their members through the development and implementation of Athlete Protection Policies, Safe Sport Best Practices, and Safe Sport education for athletes, parents, coaches and all club members. All NDAC Coaches, Officials, Swimmers and key Parent Board Officers and are registered members of USA Swimming. NDAC's Safe Sport Club Coordinator USA Swimming Safe Sport Best Practices
