SPECIAL NOTE:  Beginning Sep. 1, 2022, there is a new process for registering with USA Swimming.  All swimmers never before registered with USA Swimming, or those not registered in the last year, will need to register themselves on the USA Swimming website. All GOAL swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming, and links to register will be sent out periodically to those not yet registered.  Please note that if you register as a Flex member with USA Swimming, you are only able to participate in 2 meets for the registration year.  If you want to be able to compete in more than 2 meets, please register for the premium membership.    ~Coach Tom

 

Meet Recap:  This weekend saw GOAL competing at the Bellevue Carnival meet. It was a fast and fun meet, with kids having the opportunity to swim fast and win beads for winning their heat or going a best time. Our swimmers rose to the occasion and we saw a lot of great swims, with a lot of swimmers gaining new personal bests in their events. Congratulations to everyone who competed this past weekend, we're so proud of all of you!

→   Sarpy County Swim Club President's Day Meet (Papillion-La Vista H.S.)

        Registration Deadline: January 23, 202

 

            This meet will be held at Papillion LV H.S. On Sat-Sun Feb. 4-5, 2023.  There are no time             standards needed to enter, so all are eligible (h.s. Swimmers must have permission             from their high school).  All events will be in the AM on both days, with 8&U, 12&U and             Open age groups.  Entries are due to the GOAL website by Mon. Jan. 23.

 

→   Swim Omaha Distance Meet (1650, 1000, 400 IM) (Ralston H.S.)

February 12, 2022

 

        Registration Deadline: January 27, 2023

 

            This meet is held at Ralston High School on Sunday Feb. 12.

            The meet will be limited to 80 swimmers, so please get your entry in by Jan. 27.

            The Event Limit is 2. Swimmers may enter either the 1000 /400 IM OR the 1650/400 IM (or you may             just enter 1 event as well).  Please ask your child's group coach if you are unsure if you are ready             for this meet.

 

            DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS Friday, January 27, 2023.

 

            Each heat will use 5 lanes. A warm‐up lane will be provided for swimmers in the upcoming heat.

            Heats of the 1000 will be swum first followed by heats of the 1650 followed by heats of the 400 IM. 
            Coaches will be notified 72 hours in advance as to what time each heat will swim.
            Starts and Touchpads are in the deep end 

           All events swam Fastest to Slowest.
