Year in Review 2021-2022 This season saw tremendous results for the NBAC Team. Some of the accomplishments are as follows: USA SWIMMING SILVER MEDAL CLUB AWARD NBAC is the only team in the country to have achieved the GOLD or SILVER Award every year since the beginning of the program in 2003. USA SWIMMING VIRTUAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS SCY: 251,542 POINTS GOOD FOR 11th IN THE USA. THIS WAS THE HIGHEST Short Course Yards POINT TOTAL EVER ACHIEVED BY NBAC. The top 10 finalists for the 2022 Fitter & Faster/ASCA Age Group Coach of the Year have been announced and NBAC Head Coach Tom Himes made the list. The top 10 coaches were selected based on USA Swimming's National Rankings data for 12 and under swimmers. Coaches received bonus points for the number of #1 rankings, for the number of different swimmers ranked and for the number of total rankings. Coach Himes was one of 50 nominees. Branon Picks Up Olympic Trials Cut Big news for NBAC’s Ryan Branon. He picked up his first Olympic Trial cut at the USA Swimming 18 & U Cup in Richmond, VA. Branon qualified and won the 200 M Butterfly in a time of 2:00.90, making the cut by .20. The swim qualifies him for WAVE 1 of the USA Swimming Olympic Trials. Congratulations Ryan!!!

NBAC in the Community NBAC recognizes that times are not easy, and that the pandemic has caused hardships for not only our team and its members, but for many people across the Baltimore region. In an effort to give back to the community, the team has recently partnered with several charitable organizations to help those in need. Most recently, NBAC’s Imagination 4 group, in conjunction with the Student Support Network, which helps provide food to families of area high schools, led an MLK Day of Service food donation project.
