• Dues will be paid on a monthly basis, due on the 15th of each month, over 10 months (no payments on March 15 or August 15)
  • The swim month will begin on the 15th and end on the 14th.
  • Registration will occur at the start of Short Course season, with swimmers signing up for the full swim team year (September – August) unless otherwise noted.  Swimmers may still participate in just the short course or long course season, but will need to indicate so.
  • All swimmers must have a current USA Swimming (USAS) registration in order to participate in practice and team events.  USAS payment is due prior to the start of practice.
  • Dues will be automatically deducted from the designated account or charged to the designated credit card each month.
  • Members must provide written notice of no less than 30 days of their intent to discontinue with practices.  Notice may be sent by email to [email protected], and must be confirmed by an acknowledgement email.  Failure to provide adequate notice will result in continuation of automatic debits for scheduled dues payments.
  • Payments are due for any part of the month a swimmer participates in; no prorated or refunded dues for partial months.
  • Members not opting for auto pay will be required to pay monthly dues by personal or cashier’s check in advance according to the following schedule:
    • Sept 15:  Dues for Sept/Oct/Nov
    • Nov 15:  Dues for Dec/Jan/Feb
    • April 15:  Dues for Apr/May
    • June 15:  Dues for Jun/Jul
  • A $50 Registration Fee will be charged for each registration
    • All registered swimmers will receive an HLST swim cap
    • If the swimmer quits then rejoins before the start of next SC season they will have to pay the registration fee again
  • A charge of $30 will be assessed to accounts for debits or checks returned due to non sufficient funds (NSF).   Debits will be automatically resubmitted within 7 business days with the $30 NSF fee.  NSF checks must be replaced with a cashier’s check for the amount owed plus the $30 NSF fee.
  • Accounts with past due balances will be considered delinquent accounts and will result in swimmers being ineligible to participate in team practices or activities, or to be registered for meets as a member of HLST.  Failure to rectify account delinquencies may result in remedial court action according to the laws of the State of Montana.
  • First time members are offered a two week trial period before fully committing to team membership.  The $25 registration fee, a completed USA Swimming registration form, and USAS fee must be submitted prior to starting practice.  If the swimmer does not wish to continue at the conclusion of the trial period, the USAS payment will be returned (the $25 registration fee is nonrefundable).  If the swimmer wishes to continue with the team they must fully register and provide dues payment immediately after the trial period.
