Guided directly by coach feedback, USA Swimming has updated its education catalog as of May 25, 2023, including a single location for access to all resources: USA Swimming University. USA Swimming University includes a redesign of USA Swimming’s Coach Certification Program, originally launched in September 2022. Addy Lewis (MAC) and Connor Mizner (MYST) were named the Montana Swimming Male and Female Sportspersons of the Year by the Montana Swimming House of Delegates. Julia Huffmaster (BOZ) and Winston Sundeen (BOZ) were named the Montana Swimming Athletes of the Year during the spring House of Delegates meeting. The award is given annually to the female and male swimmer who amasses the highest number of power points in five events from May 30 of the previous year through April 1 of the current year. Ken Kunz, Billings YMCA Seahawks, was awarded the prestigious Montana Swimming Phillips 66 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year award during the MT Swimming spring House of Delegates meeting. Upgrading Seasonal Membership A member can only upgrade from Seasonal to Premium prior to the expiration date of their Seasonal Membership. Step-by-step instructions can be found here. USA Swimming will not refund any Seasonal Membership payments after the Seasonal expiration date. Once a seasonal membership expires, full payment for a Premium Membership is required.
