Hello, We were just told we will have new pool heater inspected and running at 10 AM tomorrow (Wednesday). Water is now 71 degrees so we are not having practice for ALL groups tonight (Tuesday) or in the morning (Wednesday). Seniors will swim Wed. night even if still chilly. I will take temperature of water mid afternoon tomorrow to determine if other groups will be offered Wed. night. Any questions just reply to this email. We told Webb that we must have heat before Halloween due to the weather change....
1. Practice tonight canceled for prep, viking and EAG due to cold pool water. The heater installation is ongoing and should be finished tomorrow. We will have air and pool heat for winter. 2. We understand that some swimmers (especially ones that live over an hour away) may want to change out of their wet clothes before going home after swimming. This order will close on October 25. Each swimmer already gets a shirt as part of their registration, so you do not need to order for them. Good morning, If you have ever considered being an official for USA swimming and would like information on how to become one please reply to this email. Especially right now when spectators could be reduced being an official is a great way to have the best view of the pool. It has also been shown that when parents are involved kids feel supported and give more to their sport. I can personally say that the Arkansas LSC has a fantastic team of officials that are truly fun to work with....
