Dan has been coaching swimmers in the Northland since 2002.   In his 4th year with  NLU, he leads our Challenge group teaching the fundamentals of the sport to our 12 & Under competitive swimmers.    Focusing on the basics and building a solid base of skills that enables a child’s growth in the sport is his primary goal.    Swimming provides much more than just learning how to swim.    Teaching lessons of cooperation, commitment, setting goals, patience, discipline, and a multitude of other traits that develop young swimmers into outstanding citizens is an important part of his coaching philosophy.   Dan is looking forward to the upcoming season and as always will provide a safe and FUN environment for all the kids.
