Welcome New Families to USA Swimming and Tsunami Swim Team of Kansas City!

In an effort to eliminate some of the confusion that comes with being "new", and to help you "plunge" right in and have fun, we would like to provide you with some basic information which we hope you will find helpful.

Take some time to look over our website. There is a lot of useful information under each of the tabs - from what equipment your child needs to meet time standards. You can stay current with our News articles and sign up for meets and worker requirements under our News section and Swim Meets/Events section on the home page. If you are new to the team and need help signing up for a meet, your child's coach can help. We also have on-line tutorials to take you step by step through the process. Click on "My Account" to the left. Under My Account is a "My Tutorials" link. Click here to go to various on-line videos that show how to log in, how to view invoices, how to sign up for meets and more.

Parents are vital stakeholders in our team. The Tsunami Swim Team staff is empowered by the collaborative working relationship with parents in providing the best possible experiences for all of our swimmers.  We encourage parents to consult with their swimmer's coach with questions and other information related to our program. Due to our coaches' focus on the welfare of the athletes during practice, we ask you please schedule time to talk outside of practice times.
