Delta * Beta * Sigma

At EAC, we appreciate that some athletes enjoy mutliple sports while others decide to dedicate themselves to just one.  We have a program for both types of athletes as they age and improve their swimming skills.

 

BLACK DELTA

Focus: Delta group is for swimmers who have decided to focus on the sport of swimming as their sport of choice.  This group is designed for athletes who are highly committed to swimming as a strong compliment to their academic and athletic development. Conditioning and aerobic training will be emphasized. Enfinity looks to Delta swimmers to exhibit leadership and team building skills in and out of the pool

Suggested Age:  11-14 years old  **Swimming comes to everyone at a different pace.  It is not uncommon to see swimmers under and over the age range attend Delta practices.  Enfinity works to safely move swimmers along their “path” so that they train in the group that most appropriately fits their age and skill level**

Skill requirements to enter the group: Swimmers must demonstrate a desire to focus on the sport of swimming.  They are expected to be proficient in all 4 competitive strokes.

Time Commitment: 6 days per week for 90-120 minutes in-water and dry land workouts 2 days per week with a minimum of 3 days per week required.  Local and away meets are highly recommended.

BLACK BETA

Focus: Beta group is intended for swimmers who love the sport of swimming as a component to their academic and extra-curricular pursuits.  Coaches work on building healthy young athletes through teaching proper technique while incorporate conditioning and aerobic training.  Enfinity looks for Beta swimmers to exhibit leadership and team building skills in and out of the pool

BLACK SIGMA

Focus: Black Sigma is designed to build on the physical and technical skills acquired through age group swimming to reach the highest potential possible for each swimmer in the group.  Athletes in this group use their swimming skills to train at a high level.  Coaches spend time developing a training plan for each individual athlete.

Suggested Age:  13+ years old

Skill requirements to enter the group: Swimmers must demonstrate a desire to focus on the sport of swimming.  They are expected to be proficient in all 4 competitive strokes and working on time cuts in each stroke.

Time Commitment: 8 practices per week for 60-120 minutes in-water and dry land workouts 3 days per week with a minimum of 5 days per week.  Meets required.

BLACK SIGMA II

Focus: Black Sigma II is designed to build on the physical and technical skills acquired through age group swimming or recreational swimming.  Athletes in this group continue their development in the water with a more accommodating training regimen allowing for more time to pursue other activities. Coaches spend time developing a training plan for each individual athlete.  Many Sigma II swimmers use our training platform to complement their high school and summer league swimming experience while also staying in shape in between seasons.

Suggested Age:  13+ years old

Skill requirements to enter the group: Swimmers must demonstrate a desire to focus on the sport of swimming.  They are expected to be proficient in all 4 competitive strokes and working on time cuts in each stroke.

Time Commitment: 5 practices per week for 105 minutes in-water and dry land optional workouts 3 days per week.  Meets required.
