Teaching Philosophy
Swimming properly is based on the four foundations of swimming: Breathing, kicking, pulling water, and the timed coordination of these skills. These skills enable swimmers to properly support their bodies in the water, especially in emergency situations. Incorrect teaching leads to “thrashing,” which in most situations will not help the swimmer.
Efficient stroke mechanics open the doors to life long fitness and to competitive swimming.
Our instructors are friendly, enthusiastic teachers with extensive swim backgrounds.
Our lessons will have a 3 or 4:1 ratio--the smallest in the area to give your child the most attention and time in the water possible.

Ages 5-18/Over | USA Swimming's newest program for busy kids/Teens: Swim in/Swim out on a monthly basis; 2 practices a week; 2 USA meets/year. More info to come in the Fall! Registration for Flex Swim will be through the Year Round registration process-- see Team Info tab for more! |
