The Waves of Wilmington serves as the preeminent mid-sized USA Swimming team in the Southeastern United States.

Mission

The Waves of Wilmington swim team strives to develop champions in life through the sport of swimming. At WOW, competitive swimming provides the framework that enables individuals to develop a positive self image while ingraining traits of commitment, dedication, leadership, self-discipline, time management, and goal setting, both inside and outside of the pool, in a safe, supportive environment.
