Foundations

A series of programs geared towards younger swimmers who donʼt yet have the necessary skill, background, and/or time commitment for a year-round competitive swim team. The program will focus on the fundamentals of swimming, with each level building on the previous one to ensure swimmers are swim meet ready once they make the leap to the competitive side of the pool.

Development Programs

Development I

Swimmers aim to become technically proficient in all 4 strokes, refine starts, turns, and underwater techniques as well as further their knowledge of competitive swimming.

Development II

Swimmers aim to become technically proficient in all 4 strokes, refine starts, turns, and underwater techniques as well as further their knowledge of competitive swimming.

Age Group Programs

Age Group 1

Practice group that maintains a strong focus on stroke technique while introducing speed, race strategy, and goal setting. Swimmers aim to qualify and compete at the NC State Championship level.

Age Group 2

Advanced practice group where stroke technique remains as the focal point with advanced skills and race strategies becoming more centrally themed. Swimmers aim to qualify and compete at the NC Championship level and higher.

Age Group 3

Advanced training group where goal setting, race strategy, and endurance training are central themes with swimmers aiming to qualify and compete at the NC state championship level and higher.

Senior Programs

Senior 1

Practice group for swimmers looking to refine proper stroke technique, build endurance and speed and compete at the NC Championship level.

Senior 2

Advanced training group for swimmers looking to compete at the NC Championship level and higher.

Senior 3

Advanced training group for swimmers looking to qualify for National level swim meets. Swimmers in this group are expected to epitomize WOW swimming.
