The Peer Leaders are a group of swimmers who will work to support other swimmers and are committed to making positive changes at WOW. Athletes, feel free to contact the leaders with any questions, concerns, or feedback. Parents, feel free to contact the parent coordinators with questions or feedback concerning the Peer Leaders program.

Meet Your Peer Leaders
Hi, my name is Cooper Hyldahl and I am a senior at Hoggard High School. I have been swimming for 11 years. Outside of swimming, I like to run and am currently training for the Wilmington Ironman 70.3. I also enjoy playing piano, classical guitar, and voice. My biggest passion is politics and I am currently involved in the Cheri Beasley campaign for Senate. I look forward to serving as the Peer Leader President this year.
Hi, my name is Kinsey Ginsberg and I am in Senior 3. I have been swimming for 12 years and my favorite stroke is butterfly. In addition to swimming, I love surfing and playing football for Ashley high school. This summer I worked at Carolina Beach Ocean Rescue and was a member of the winning national competition team. I am a senior this year and also dual enrolled at NCSSM.
Hi, my name is Ellen Phillips. I have been competitively swimming for 11 years and 8 of those have been on WOW. I am a senior at Hoggard High School. In my free time I like to run, hike, and bake. I am a multi-sport athlete; competing in swim and run at Hoggard. I look forward to serving as the Peer Leader President this year. Go WOW!
Hi! My name is Tabitha Lac. I am a junior at Hoggard/NCSSM. I’ve been swimming for 11 years, but have been on WOW for 7 years. My favorite stroke is backstroke. Some things that I like to do on my free time are paint, sing, and hang out with my friends. WOW has been such a big part of my life and I hope that everyone finds WOW as fun as I do!
Hi, my name is Brennen Farrell. I am a WOW senior. I have been swimming for 3 years and this will be my second year swimming at WOW and Hoggard High School. My favorite strokes are freestyle and backstroke. I moved to Wilmington last year and have enjoyed my time at WOW. I can somewhat do a backflip off the diving board.
Hi, my name is Ryan Langtry and I’ve been swimming on WOW for nine years. I am in Senior 3 and my favorite stroke is butterfly. I am a junior at Hoggard High School, where I also swim. In my free time, I love going to the beach with my friends, reading, and enjoying nature. I am excited for this season. Go WOW!
Hey my name is Evan Stuck. I’m in the 11th grade and go to Hoggard. I’ve been swimming on WOW for 8 years and my favorite stroke is backstroke. One thing I love about WOW is the community it creates. I love the beach practices we have and go WOW.
Hey, I’m Bradley Bush and I’m in 11th grade at Hoggard. This will be my fifth year swimming on WOW and I’m in Senior 3. My favorite strokes are sprint freestyle and breaststroke. Outside of swimming, I like to draw, paddleboard, and hang out with friends. I’m looking forward to a fast, fun filled year with everyone on the team!
