Keri Lamontagne Assistant Coach

Keri was born and raised in New Hampshire and made the move down south to Wilmington in the fall of 2019. For as long as she can remember, she always loved to swim and would take any opportunity she got to be surrounded by water. She began swimming competitively for her local team when she was 13 and swam year-round through high school. She then continued to compete for her college’s division II swim team. As both a high school and college student, her summer job was always to teach children swim lessons.

Keri attended Assumption College in Massachusetts where she earned her BA in Mathematics and Education. She graduated as a licensed teacher and then went on to earn her MAT in Mathematics through Providence College. She has worked as an elementary school teacher and has also taught both middle school and high school math. While teaching in New Hampshire, she began a swim club for her middle school students. She enjoyed sharing her passion for the sport with them while she created a positive and motivating environment for the students to improve their stroke technique and become stronger swimmers.

Keri is currently working as a tutor. She works one-on-one with students across all grade levels in various subjects, but mainly math. She enjoys spending any free time outdoors and still loves to swim. She hopes to train for and compete in a triathlon sometime in the near future!
