Evan Wilkerson Earns Silver at US Para Nationals

The Toyota US Paralympic Swimming National Championships concluded last weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina, and up-and-comer Evan Wilkerson (age 15, S12) had a steller LCM meet to finish off a successful first half of his 2021-22 Short Course Season.
Evan went lifetime bests in 12 of 13 swims over the course of the 3-day meet, inlcuding:
400M Free: 22 second drop
200M Breast: 22 second drop
200M Free: 10 second drop
100M Back: 7 second drop
Wilkerson won Silver in the 200M Breast, and was part of a rare VI (visually impaired) relay that took a Gold medal in the 4x100M Free Relay. Evan was suprised on Saturday night finals when his grandmother, sister, neighbors and over 15 WAVE family members came to support him! Evan will next take the stage in his paralympics journey when he suits up for the 2022 World Para Swimming World Series in Indianapolis, IN in April 2022.
