FAQs

Will athletes be allowed to be on deck during the meet?

The athletes will have seating on the deck throughout the entire meet.   Bleachers will have signs posted for teams to sit while on deck.  In addition to the on-deck seating we will have a team area on the second level of the fieldhouse that athletes can use to for extra belongings such as blankets.  The second level of the field house directly surrounds the general area main floor (old basketball arena) that we will use for extra seating, video and scoreboard viewing, concessions, and apparrel.

Will the meet be livestreamed?

Yes, the video will be livestreamed.   We will post the link when it becomes available.  In addition to sitting in the bleachers on the second level of the pool, we will have two 75" screens of the pool(s) and an addition 50" screen showing the scoreboard in the fieldhouse.

Where will the officials meet?

Official meetings will be held on the third floor mezanine.  To reach the mezanine you will need to take the same stairs to the third floor which is one level above the pool spectator seating.

Where is the hospitality room?

The hospitality room for coaches and officials is located in Room 172.  This is also where the coaches meeting will be held each day.

When will teams know lane timing assignments?

Lane timing assignments will be available on Tuesday after entries are processed and seeded.  Lane assignments are based on the # of entries each team submits.  During the 1650, 1000, 500 freestyles and 800 free relay each team should be expected to cover one lane in each pool (4 total timers).  Smaller teams may be assigned to share lanes with other teams and should work collaboratively to cover their lane assignments.

Will there be an internal map of the Hyslop facility?

Yes, we will post a hyslop map of the inside of the hyslop facility as soon as it is ready.  The parking map is posted above, on the RRV Wahoo facebook page, and shared by the ND Swimming page.
