SHORT COURSE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON AUGUST 8, 2022 FOR RETURNING BATs SWIMMERS. 

ALL NEW SWIMMERS MUST ATTEND A TRYOUT AND BE ACCEPTED TO THE TEAM PRIOR TO REGISTRATION. REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR NEW SWIMMERS IF THESE QUALIFICATIONS ARE NOT MET.

Welcome to the Belmont Aquatic Team Electronic Registration platform for our upcoming 2022-23 short course swim season! We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you to easily declare for swim meets, see your swimmer's swim time histories, and maintain your own contact information.

The long course season begins on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

RETURNING SWIMMERS: Please log in with your existing Team Unify account and complete your registration by September 1 to reserve your spot.

NEW SWIMMERS: AFTER ATTENDING A TRYOUT AND BEING NOTIFIED OF MAKING THE TEAM Please create a TeamUnify account for parents and submit your payment information by your first day. This account will serve as the primary communication channel. Complete the remaining forms by Friday, October 7.

2022-23 Swim Season Registration, Waivers, Practices & Tuition Fees

Registration Fee

Continuing this season, we are offering an Annual Registration in addition to Short Course only options. If you plan to swim the entire 11 month season, please register for the Annual Registration to avoid paying the registration fee twice.

A non-refundable registration fee of $200.00 will be charged at the time of registration. Additionally, there is a separate $89 fee for USA Swimming membership. 

Your registration fee will be refunded only if the coach determines your child is not ready to participate on the team.

The commitment is for the entire season. A $200 cancellation fee will be incurred for families who committed for the whole year and choose to stop after short course. No refunds or cancellations will be made mid-season.

WAIVERS & CODE OF CONDUCT
Please sign all the attached waivers and team code of conduct. Any additional waivers will be sent to you electronically. 
 
Practices
Each week we will have at least 4-5 swim practices and 2-3 dryland practices. The schedule can be found on the schedule tab. 

Tuition Fees

Short Course ONLY (September - March)

Senior/Red: $2,670.50 
Orange/Yellow: $2,441.60 
Green/Blue: $2,212.70

A discount will be applied if you pay in full at the time of registration. Other payment options include monthly payments over 7 months. The two first month's payment is due at the time of registration.

Full Year (September - July)

Senior/Red: $3,896.75 
Orange/Yellow: $3,597 
Green/Blue: $3,297.25  

A discount will be applied if you pay in full at the time of registration. Other payment options include monthly payments over 11 months. The first two month's payment is due at the time of registration.

These payments include pool practices and dryland practices. Costs for swim meets and other activities are charged separately.

TRAINING GROUPS:

Your child's training group will be determined at the beginning of the season by the coach.

BLUE: Pre-competitive swimmers will focus on developing good technique, endurance, and practicing good competition habits. Attend 2+ practices per week (daily yardage around 500-750). Participates in a weekly dryland session. 

GREEN: Swimmers will focus on developing good technique, endurance, and practicing good competition habits. Practices will include simple sets and the swimmers will start to learn how to use the pace clock. Attend 2+ practices per week (daily yardage around 800-1000). Participates in a weekly dryland session. 

YELLOW/ORANGE:  Swimmers will focus on increasing the yardage and endurance while using good technique. Practice sets will become longer, more difficult, and complex. Increased understanding of the pace clock. Attend at least 3 practices per week (daily yardage around 2000-3000). Participates in most dryland sessions. 

RED: This group is geared for championship level swimmers for those looking to compete in the highest levels in high school and beyond. Swimmers will lead sets and can run an independent warmup. Attend at least 3 practices per week (daily yardage around 4500-6000). Participates in all dryland sessions. Looking for at least 90% attendance. 

SENIOR:  Experienced swimmers with demonstrated dedication. These swimmers have the goal to compete at a high level meet such as seniors, sectionals, junior nationals. (yardage around 5000-6500). Participates in all dryland sessions.
