The Winter Classic Meet at UVAC was another good meet for the Sailfish. We had 30 Sailfish swimming and they produced almost 70 best times at this meet. The 12 & under events were also ranked through 8th place so I’ll highlight best times for everyone, and top 8 finishes for the 12 & unders. At our first trials & finals meet of the season, our Sailfish showed their stuff and produced some terrific swims. The trials & finals format makes for long meets, but when the Sailfish made it to the finals (top 12) they all swam very well. At this meet, were were two sets of finals for 11-12, 13-14 and 15 & O swimmers, an “A” flight (top 6) and a “B” flight (7-12) which is a very common set up at a trials & finals meet. Please join me in congratulating our recent age group qualifiers Chloe Adler, Charleigh Beaudet and Chocorua Longval. All 3 girls met qualifying times at the Dorsi Raynolds meet at UVAC last weekend. Chloe qualified in the 8 & under 25 breast, fly & free. Charleigh qualified in the 8 & under 25 fly and Chocorua qualified in the 9-10 50 breast. Nice work girls! Congratulations!

Coming off a strong weekend of swimming at the RAYS meet the previous weekend, the Sailfish continued that trend with even more best times and great swims at the UVAC meet.
