EDGE Swimmers Receive Multiple High Honors!

We would like to congratulate Miles Cochrane, Esther Cuneo, Charlie Fahey, Marin Hemmett, and Ella Miller for being named to the Top 10 New England Swimmers in their individual events for the 2017-2018 Short Course and 2018 Long Course seasons. Their achievements are as follows:

Miles Cochrane:

  • Boys 15-16 100M Breaststroke: 10th
  • Boys 15-16 200M Breaststroke: 10th
  • Boys 15-16 100Y Breaststroke: 8th
  • Boys 15-16 200Y Breaststroke: 10th
  • Boys 15-16 200Y Butterfly: 10th

Esther Cuneo:

  • Girls 11-12 100yard Breaststroke: 10th

Charlie Fahey:

  • Boys 9-10 50M Backstroke: 9th
  • Boys 9-10 100M Backstroke: 7th
  • Boys 9-10 400M Freestyle: 8th

Marin Hemmett:

  • Girls 11-12 100M Breaststroke: 10th

Ella Miller:

  • Girls 15-16 100M Backstroke: 2nd
  • Girls 15-16 200M Backstroke: 5th
  • Girls Open 100M Backstroke: 4th
  • Girls Open 200M Backstroke: 9th
  • Girls 15-16 100Y Backstroke: 1st
  • Girls 15-16 200Y Backstroke: 2nd
  • Girls Open 100Y Backstroke: 3rd
  • Girls Open 200Y Backstroke: 7th

We would like to additionally congratulate Ella Miller for not only her athletic achievements, but her academic achievements. For the second year in a row Ella has been named to the 2018 USA Swimming Scholastic All American Team. In order to qualify for the Scholastic All American team Ella had to have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA for the 2017-2018 school year and achieve a time in at least one race at the winter junior national level. Congrats Ella, we are so proud of your accomplishments in the pool and in the classroom.

Congrats to Miles, Esther, Charlie, Marin, and Ella on a very successful year. Your teammates, coaches, and EDGE family are so proud!
